Towne Club Testimonials

"Amazing Food."

“The potato soup yesterday was delicious and, such that, we could add the salt to our tastes. And, the bagels served by Tracy and Quay were warm enough to allow the bottom to melt perfectly. Yes, “first world” things. But what makes living at Towne Club Windermere so nice. Thank you all."
– Frank & Dee S.

"Truly Spectacular."

“We want to say thanks for such great entertainment Saturday night. It was truly spectacular. We are blessed to be in this facility. Thank you for making us feel special! All the staff do a great job, and are very friendly."

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Infectious Disease Protocols

Are family members allowed to visit residents if there is a pandemic outbreak?

These are unfamiliar times and we are understanding of the frustration and anxiety of not being permitted to visit a loved one. However, in accordance with federal and state guidelines, we must restrict visitors except essential healthcare personnel in an effort to prevent residents from being exposed to COVID-19.

If residents live within independent living, are they allowed to come and go as they wish during a quarantine?

Federal and state agencies continue to provide rigorous protocols around self-isolation and physical distancing. Our policy is to update protocol according to these guidelines in the interest of protecting residents and team members. We strongly discourage any resident from leaving the community.

Should an Independent living resident decide to leave the community, they are required to self-quarantine for 14 days upon return to the community. Should any resident need to venture outside of the community for shopping and medication pickups, our community teams are prepared to work closely with each individual to provide assistance in meeting those needs.

If a resident leaves the community for a routine yet necessary health-care appointment, they are to be placed in continual self-isolation and screened every 4 hours. If the resident is symptom- free, an opportunity will be provided for them to leave their apartment. A team member will accompany the resident following physical distancing protocol of 6 feet of separation.
